I just completed these five versions of a character I created for the Boca Grove Golf and Tennis Club. He was specifically designed to add levity in a heavy time. They requested five versions doing different things that highlight the features of the club. I have never been known as a cartoonist, but I'm kind of liking it.
I started these with pencil sketches and then did final renderings in Adobe Illustrator. They are all vector based and I used custom brushes for the "inking" so I can change the line quality at a latter date if I need to.
