About SYBAss
SYBAss stands for the Superyacht Builders Association. Their mission is to make sure the unique needs of the world's top superyacht builders are addressed on the international stage. They do this through promotion, regulation, and by upholding high standards of professionalism across the industry.
The association has 24 members. Together they accounted for 67 percent of all yachts over 40 meters under construction as of June 2021. These are the companies building the largest and most complex yachts in the world.
What I Have Provided for SYBAss
My work for SYBAss so far has focused on creating custom maps based on the ones I make for major boat shows. I build these maps from three dimensional digital models of the venues and surrounding areas. Each year I update the models to reflect the new arrangements of floating docks and land exhibitors.
Once the model is updated I render it from the chosen angle. Those renderings become the foundation for the final illustrated maps. Because the maps are based on models, I can render them from different angles without starting over from scratch. I have used this flexibility to create new and unique maps tailored specifically to SYBAss and their members.

A quick note about working with exhibitors. If there is any chance of a conflict of interest, I always check with the show management company first. The maps I create depend on their data and their cooperation. In my experience, show management companies are generally supportive of exhibitors promoting themselves at the shows. But I believe in being transparent and making sure everyone is on the same page.
