Portraits Portfolio
Portraiture was my main focus right after art school. That initial passion has mellowed over the years, but I still believe there is something special about capturing a person's likeness by hand. The process feels like a deeper connection than conversation alone can offer.
I have painted portraits in oils and acrylics and drawn them in just about every medium you can name. Most of the time I work from photographs. Models have a way of getting restless. But I do work from life when the situation calls for it.
