Custom Decorated Scooter and Skateboard
Illustration, Design and Painting by John Potter - Escape Key Graphics

I painted these by hand with brushes and some spray paint. They are headed for a custom skateboard rack where they will live as permanent fixtures. The idea is that people will see them and immediately understand the rack is meant to be used, not just looked at. It looks cool enough that someone might mistake it for modern art. These pieces clear that up.
The scooter and skateboard are functional objects, but they did not have to stay plain. A little color and pattern transforms them into something worth noticing. That is the kind of work I enjoy. Taking something ordinary and giving it visual personality.
If you have a project that needs custom painted objects, signage, or fixtures, contact me. I am comfortable working on surfaces that move.
