Racing Related Illustration Portfolio

I move in and out of the racing industry. Projects come up every so often, and I take them as they come. Over time I have worked on projects in both motorsports and running events. I will admit I started out pretty ignorant about the motorsports world. But I have learned a lot, and projects like the ones for Pikes Peak International Raceway and the main map for Dover International Speedway have been an education in themselves.

Much like the yachting industry, racing has layers. There is always more to learn. But after several years of track related work, I understand the demands of track ownership and management much better than I used to.

Recently I have watched the rise of motorsports resorts. They go by different names. Motorsport country clubs, race resorts, private track clubs. The concept blends racing facilities with resort amenities, and it overlaps directly with the resort work I have been doing for years. That combination of experience makes me a strong candidate for any visual project such a facility might need. I understand both sides of the operation.
