This painting fits into a series of paintings exploring the use of custom linear halftones I have been working on.
This painting is inspired by the quote "Once the toothpaste is out of the tube, it's awfully hard to get it back in" popularized by H.R. Haldeman during the Watergate scandal.


This is the same image in it's black and white form and the initial halftone pattern. These are some of the stages of development of the image.
