Outdoor Mural of Santorini

I painted this mural on my patio. Acrylic on stucco. The view looks out over Santorini, or at least my version of it. White buildings cling to the caldera, blue domes catch the light, and the sea stretches out past everything.

The sketch came first. I worked out the composition on paper before I touched the wall. Stucco is not forgiving. You want to know where everything goes before you commit.

I enjoy this is the kind of project. Taking a blank exterior wall and turning it into a window somewhere else. If you have an outdoor space that could use a view, contact me. I am comfortable working on surfaces that weather.
