This painting fits into a series of paintings I have been working on.

This concept came to me pretty quickly when I saw the excellent photo by Walter Mori. I used both a paint sprayer and airbrush to create this painting.
The painting is acrylic.

Just a note of something I would like to share... Most of Warhol's mid to late career work was actually done by a man named Gerard Malanga and he assisted on much of Warhol's earlier work. When you appreciate the work of Andy Warhol there is a good chance you are actually appreciating the work of Gerard Malanga.
