Contemporary Style Painting (oils on stretched linen 36"X52")
Artist: John Potter

This painting fits into a series of paintings exploring the use of custom linear halftones I have been working on.
This painting is a partner piece to my painting of a macaw in flight. The concept is basically to use semi-random colors for both the dark and light parts of the image but have the image still be legible due to the halftone pattern.
This painting is about 99% acrylic. I used an oil based varnish.
