I created an illustrated resort and marina map for Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina, one of the most historic and recognizable destinations in the Bahamas. The goal of the project was to present the property in a clear and inviting way while capturing the relaxed, vibrant character of the islands. I approached the map with an architectural rendering style, giving the buildings and marina a sense of structure and realism while keeping the overall look friendly and accessible for visitors.
Color played an important role in the design. Bright, sun-washed hues, especially yellows, were used throughout the map to reflect the warmth, energy, and playful atmosphere of Bimini. These colors help guide the viewer’s eye across the property and reinforce the resort’s tropical identity. The balance between realistic detail and simplified forms allows guests to quickly understand the layout while still enjoying the illustration as a visual experience.
The finished map highlights key features of the resort and marina, including docks, accommodations, dining areas, and surrounding landscape, making it useful for both orientation and marketing. Designed for print and digital use, the illustration supports guest wayfinding while also serving as a branded visual asset that reflects the spirit of the Bahamas and the unique character of Bimini Big Game Club.
