The 2026 Miami International Boat Show once again centers around the Miami Beach Convention Center, one of the most recognizable and accessible venues in the city. Serving as the primary hub of the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, the convention center provides visitors with a complete overview of the event and convenient connections to all show locations. With expansive indoor exhibits, marine industry displays, and coordinated transportation options, the venue functions as a natural starting point for navigating the show.
This overhead illustrated map is designed as a clear orientation tool for attendees entering the convention center area. The layout is intentionally straightforward, using restrained color and subtle texture to help distinguish areas at a glance without overwhelming the viewer. A consistent graphical icon system identifies commonly used amenities, while numbered yellow markers highlight key show features. Distinct color zones indicate areas dedicated to specific sectors of the marine industry, and a clear graphical legend outlines shuttle route information. A portion of Pride Park, which borders the convention center, is included in the illustration to provide additional geographic context and improve overall wayfinding.
The 2026 Miami International Boat Show spans four primary venues, each supported by a dedicated, location specific map. In addition to these venue maps, I designed a comprehensive transportation map with versions optimized for the show website, on site signage, and the official printed program. A vertical format map of the Miami Beach Yacht Collection along Collins Avenue was also developed specifically for large scale signage, allowing the information to remain clear and consistent across different formats, viewing distances, and spatial conditions.
Large public events depend on clear, well organized maps to help visitors move efficiently between exhibits, displays, and amenities. When thoughtfully designed, event maps also function as effective marketing tools that reinforce branding, support wayfinding, and elevate the overall visitor experience.
