This illustrated map was produced for the 2022 Miami International Boat Show as a polished evolution of the show’s established visual system. Built from a detailed digital three dimensional model, the map highlights the core venues at Venetian Marina and One Herald Plaza while also providing clear spatial context for the Superyacht Miami Show on Watson Island, commonly known as Yacht Haven Grande. Showing these locations together allows visitors to understand the layout of the event and how the waterfront sites relate to one another before arriving. Docks and access ramps are labeled directly on the illustration, show features are identified with numbered yellow markers, and essential amenities are clearly indicated using intuitive icons. Street names and sponsor locations are incorporated directly into the map, while shuttle routes, Water Taxi service, and VIP tender access are communicated through a clean and easy to follow graphic system.
This map was created as part of a coordinated group of five maps included in the official show program, with page layout also handled by me. It was further adapted for digital use, on site signage, and promotional materials. For an event of this size and complexity, a clear and well designed wayfinding map is critical. Beyond guiding guests through the show, it reinforces a sense of organization, professionalism, and overall production quality.
