This illustrated map was created for the 2023 Miami International Boat Show and represents a thoughtful refinement of the event’s established visual approach. Developed from a detailed digital three dimensional model, the map focuses on the primary venues at Venetian Marina and One Herald Plaza while also providing clear geographic orientation to the Superyacht Miami Show on Watson Island, widely known as Yacht Haven Grande. Presenting these locations together helps visitors quickly understand the overall layout of the show and how the waterfront venues connect before they arrive. Docks and access ramps are labeled directly on the illustration, show features are identified with numbered yellow markers, and key amenities are highlighted using clear, easy to recognize icons. Street names and sponsor locations are integrated directly into the map, while shuttle routes, Water Taxi service, and VIP tender access are communicated through a simple and intuitive visual system.
The map was produced as part of a coordinated set of five maps included in the official show program, with page layout also completed by me. It was adapted for use across digital platforms, on site signage, and marketing materials. For an event of this scale, an effective wayfinding map is essential. In addition to helping guests navigate the show with confidence, it reinforces a strong sense of organization, professionalism, and overall event quality.
